Terms of Sale

1. Contract

The contract consists of these Terms of Sale, information provided by the seller regarding the artwork, and any specifically agreed conditions confirmed by the buyer.

In the event of a conflict, individually agreed terms between the parties shall take precedence, provided they do not conflict with mandatory legislation.

The agreement is governed by applicable Norwegian consumer law.

2. Seller Information

Seller: Vederskyi Fotograftjenester
Organization number: 935 925 185
Address: Eyvind Alnæs vei 4, 1605 Fredrikstad, Norway
Email: vederskyi@gmail.com

3. Prices

All prices are stated in NOK unless otherwise specified.

Sales of artworks created by the seller are exempt from VAT in accordance with Norwegian VAT regulations.

The Norwegian art fee (kunstavgift) is included in the stated price where applicable.

Shipping costs are added separately and will be specified before order confirmation.

International orders may be subject to import VAT and customs duties in the buyer’s country. These costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

4. Ordering and Conclusion of Contract

Orders are placed by contacting the seller via email or other agreed communication channel.

The seller will provide information about the artwork, including price, size, edition number, and shipping cost.

The order becomes binding once the buyer confirms the purchase in writing and the seller has issued an invoice.

The seller reserves the right to cancel an order in case of errors in pricing, availability, or other essential information.

5. Payment

Payment is made by bank transfer based on an invoice issued by the seller.

The full purchase amount must be paid in advance before production and shipment of the artwork.

Production will begin only after payment has been received in full.

The payment deadline is specified on the invoice.

If payment is not received within the specified deadline, the seller reserves the right to cancel the order.

6. Delivery

Delivery is considered completed when the artwork has been handed over to the shipping carrier and tracking information has been provided to the buyer.

The artwork is delivered unframed and carefully rolled in protective packaging.

All artworks are made to order. Production time is typically up to 7 days depending on print queue and production load. After production, the artwork is shipped to the seller for inspection before final delivery to the buyer.

Total estimated time from payment to shipment to the buyer is typically 10–14 days, depending on production and logistics.

The seller is responsible for ensuring proper packaging suitable for transport.

Risk for the artwork passes to the buyer when the artwork has been handed over to the shipping carrier.

7. Complaints and Defects

The buyer must notify the seller of any defects within a reasonable time after the defect is discovered.

Complaints regarding production defects will be handled in accordance with applicable Norwegian consumer law.

If a production defect is confirmed, the seller will, where possible, offer repair, replacement of the artwork, or another appropriate solution.

The buyer is encouraged to inspect the package upon delivery and report visible transport damage immediately to the shipping carrier.

Damage occurring during transport is handled through the shipping carrier’s insurance process.

The seller will assist the buyer in resolving such claims and may provide a replacement artwork where possible.

Colours and brightness may vary slightly between digital previews and the final printed artwork due to screen calibration, lighting conditions, and printing processes.

All artworks are produced using professional fine art printing equipment to ensure high-quality reproduction.

If delivery is significantly delayed, the buyer may contact the seller to agree on a new delivery time or cancel the order if no solution is reached.

8. Right of Withdrawal

According to the Norwegian Cancellation Act (Angrerettloven), the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are produced according to the consumer’s specifications or are clearly personalised.

All artworks are produced on demand as limited edition prints. The buyer may cancel the order before production has started.

Once production has started, the right of withdrawal no longer applies.

9. Buyer’s Breach of Contract

If the buyer fails to pay or otherwise breaches the agreement, the seller may cancel the order and withhold production or delivery.

10. Warranties

No additional commercial warranties are provided beyond the rights granted under applicable consumer law.

11. Conflict Resolution

The parties shall attempt to resolve any disputes amicably. If this is not possible, the buyer may contact the Norwegian Consumer Authority for mediation. Legal disputes shall be governed by Norwegian law.
